Meet Adele Cave
Adele is a Registered Psychologist with a Master of Professional Psychology, offering warm, collaborative and person-centred therapy at Psychologymoves NSW in Balgownie. She supports adults experiencing depression, anxiety, sleep concerns and ADHD, with a particular interest in women’s health.
Adele’s clinical research has explored endometriosis, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and breast cancer, while her PhD examined early cognitive decline in adults.
Drawing on her experience as both a psychologist and Pilates instructor, she believes wellbeing is shaped by the connection between mind, body, and daily habits. By integrating mindfulness, movement, sleep, social connection, and psychological strategies, she supports clients to build agency and take meaningful steps toward lasting change.
Individual therapy, shaped around you
Adele provides collaborative, holistic and person-centred therapy for adults face to face, and via telehealth. Sessions are tailored to your needs, goals and preferences, with practical support to help you understand patterns, build coping skills and strengthen sustainable wellbeing.
Depression and Anxiety
Individual therapy can support adults experiencing depression, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, self-esteem concerns or periods of feeling overwhelmed. Adele draws on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) strategies to explore what is happening now and identify manageable steps forward.
Sleep and ADHD support
Support is available for sleep concerns and ADHD-related challenges, including focus, organisation, emotional regulation and daily routines. Where appropriate, therapy may include CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia), practical strategies, mindfulness and movement-informed reflection.
Women’s health and wellbeing
Adele has a special interest in women’s health, informed by clinical research involving endometriosis, PCOS and breast cancer. Therapy offers space to consider the emotional and practical impacts of health experiences, relationships, identity and change.
